college life

Hey i see a smile on ur face..the minute we see or talk about college often a small smile appears on our face.....:)

college a community where we spend a part of our life. made friends , had fun fights, been ragged or rag juniors, tease fellow students, help few, hurt few, tensions during exams and result announcing days,  ( loads to pen so lets stop abt feelings n blah) one question i asked many {y u go to college? the answer was 1. to have fun, 2. to gain knowledge and do something for the society or thyself} .....:)

The next que i asked was wat did u learn. the answer was again. it was loads and loads of theory etc..many in our generation has the craze of bunking classes n going to watch some movie and hang out with friends. College is a time when the "cool kids" disappear. Who you eat lunch with does not define you as a person. There is no such thing as "un-cool."

College really was the best time of our life. Balancing academic and social life is difficult. This balance is something that most likely our parents helped us with in high school in college, we can no longer relied on our parents for structure, rules, or academic motivation. All of these were in our hands. Being at college can be socially overwhelming an array of evening and weekend activities was open to us, including lectures, club/organization events, formals, dorm events, night outs during the exams, taste the flavour of success or failure and of course, parties.
If we were from anywhere other than a big city, most of our friends are probably a lot like us. we may not all share the same personality, but the things we considered "normal" are probably the same. our parents are probably a lot like our friends' parents. They probably even share the same tax bracket. we visited to the same type of restaurants as our friends...:)

we and our friends probably share similar ideas of what is fun to do on a Friday night. Until we got to college, it rarely occurs to us that life could be any different, until we find yourself surrounded by hundreds of students just like us, with very different stories. we quickly learnt that "normal" simply doesn't exist. One of the best things about going to college is the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of cultures. Students from the other side of the world and the other side of the county will likely both be living on our dorm floor. getting rid of stage fear by constant presentations.

i guess college not just teach us theory. guys look what college has though us. it thought us how to live how to win. i feel it lets us know and understand how we can fit in the world. it helps to understand importance of being good to people, it helps us to get ready for some adjustments,  makes us ready to face the real world, makes us to find the people for life, handle the pressure, importance of being known by people. great memories and expectations.
now, lets Welcome ourselves to college, where we are now considered an adult....:)

When we reach your 30s, we would likely look back at our college experience and wish we really could do it all over again.cherish the moments. be happy :)
